We’re pleased to announce that DeSpace has partnered with leading smart contract auditor ImmuneBytes! This partnership strengthens our token and creates transparency between us, our code and our community. From now on, all of our smart contracts will have public, reputable audits available to everybody, beginning with our first token contracts.

📖 If you haven’t already, you can view the full audit report here.

Why are audits important?

Writing smart contracts is a highly technical process, and not everyone in crypto has the knowledge to read them. Even those who do sometimes miss small details among the hundreds or thousands of lines of code that could undermine a contract’s security.

For teams, contract audits give crucial third-party feedback on the state of a contract, and often include recommendations on how to improve security and transparency. For users, these audits provide an easy reference point for checking both the legitimacy of the contract, as well as the intentions of the project overall. It’s best practice to always check a token’s audit reports before deciding whether to interact with it.

🚨 We’re proud of the results of the ImmuneBytes audit report, which revealed no critical problems in any of our smart contracts. Again, we encourage everyone to check out the full audit report themselves.
